Faye Ann Wieda

Faye WeidaFaye Ann Wieda, of Sullivan, MO, passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at the age of 56 years, five months and 20 days.

Faye was born January 30, 1960 in Washington, MO to Shirley Blankenship and Gordon Immekus. She was a life-long resident of the Sullivan area and graduated from Sullivan High School, Class of 1978. Faye later enrolled at Four-Rivers Vocational School and attained her Licensed Practical Nurse certificate. Faye was employed at various long term heath care facilities which include, Meramec Nursing Center in Sullivan, Dunsford Court, Mary Mount Manor and Lutheran Senior Services.  She was known as a giving and selfless wife, mother and grandmother. Faye loved quilting and embroidery work and was also a crafter. She had made quilts for all of her children and grandchildren and while ill, she made “milestone” crafts for her loved ones including letters and cards. Faye was a member of Saint Anthony Parish of Sullivan.

She is survived by her husband Brad Wieda of the family home; one son, Tommy Tod and wife Melissa of Sullivan; three daughters, Christina Tod of Union, MO, Stacy Blankenship and husband Ryan of Bourbon, MO, and Donni Sieckmann and husband Kurt of Owensville, MO; one step-daughter, Megan Powers and husband Kenny of St. Clair, MO; her mother and stepfather, Shirley and Jerry Burcham of Sullivan; one brother, Richard Immekus and fiancée Louisa Tullock of Bourbon, MO; 12 grandchildren;  her pets Fester, the cat and Zoey, a Boston Terrier; other relatives and friends.

Faye was preceded in death by her grandparents, Al and Elsie Blankenship and George and Leona Immekus; also her parents-in-law, Benjamin and Kathleen Wieda.

Funeral services were conducted 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 26, 2016 from Saint Anthony Catholic Church in Sullivan with the Rev. Father Paul Telken officiating.  Interment in Holy Martyrs of Japan Cemetery. Visitation was held from 4-8 p.m., Monday, July 25, 2016 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Saint Anthony School.  Masses are also suggested in the name of Faye Wieda.
