Rosemary Walker

Rosemary Walker, of Bourbon, MO, passed away Friday, August 5, 2016 at the age of 65 years, five months, and two days.

Rosemary was born at Licking, MO and raised in Sullivan. She attended school in Sullivan and eventually worked at the former Frasier Shoe Company at Union,  MO and then at LifeCare Health  in Sullivan as a cook. On July 6, 1968, she was united in marriage to Virgil Walker at Stanton, MO. Her life was her grandchildren whom she loved with all her heart. Rosemary also enjoyed cooking and trying all kinds of recipes. She was fond of going to yard sales and enjoyed sketching and drawing. 

She is survived by her husband, Virgil of the family home; five children, Tina Marie Osborne of Piedmont, MO, Steven Walker of Potosi, MO, Tammy Walker and companion Billy Davis, Jr. of Potosi, Tonya Rene’ Reed and husband Steve of Bourbon, MO and Amanda Perfetti and husband Nick of Sullivan, MO; five brothers and sisters, Kay Ahrenhoersterbaumer of Longview, Texas, Judy Gordon, of Union, MO, Debbie Roberts, St. Louis, MO, Wilma “Willie” Metecki of St. Louis, and Henry Kohler of St. Louis; 18 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

Rosemary was preceded in death by two sisters, Dianna Hammrick and Linda Sue McCallister.

A celebration of life was held from 5:30-8 p.m., Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at the Eaton Funeral Home, Sullivan, MO with cremation to follow.
