Debra Yvonne Sanders, of Sullivan, wife of Bobbie Helton, daughter of the late Junior and Melba Blankenship Brown passed away peacefully at her home with family on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at the age of 64 years.
She was born April 16, 1952 in St. Louis, MO. Debra’s greatest joy in life came from her family. Through the years, she enjoyed watching her grandchildren playing various sports and also enjoyed traveling, dancing, and socializing with friends. Debra attended First Assembly of God in Sullivan.
She is survived by her husband Bobby Helton of Sullivan, two daughters; Heather Lucas and husband, Kurt, of Sullivan, Alicia Poebla and husband, Dax, of Sullivan, one brother; Allen Brown of Sullivan, six grandchildren; Jacob Poebla, Jacob Dace, Taylor, Aley and Kaleb Lucas and Cole Sanders, one great-grandchild; Carter Poebla, one nephew, Hobie Brown, step children; Angie Henderson and husband, Dale, Bobby Helton and wife, Sarah, Samantha Lappe and husband ,Tony, Moriah Helton, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
Along with her parents, Debra was preceded in death by a stepson; Nick Helton
Visitation was held from 4-8 p.m. Friday, at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 27, 2016 at the Eaton Funeral Home, Sullivan, MO.
