Sharon Kathleen Stillson, age 64, of Sullivan, passed away Saturday, April 15, 2017 at home surrounded by her family.
Sharon was born on April 17, 1952 to Verne and Doris (McClement) Mahorney in Independence, MO.
She was raised in the Kansas City area where she attended school. She earned her cosmetology license as well as her real estate license.
She met her husband, Joseph G. Stillson, in Olathe, KS, and they married on September 2, 1982.
In 1992, she moved to Sullivan with her husband and two daughters, Cherylin and Sara. She became employed a few years later by the Franklin County Board of Realtors as their Executive Officer. She loved her job with the board very much, and loved working with all the Real Estate agents in the area.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph Stillson of Sullivan; two daughters, Cherylin (Dayton) Skaggs of Sullivan and Sara (Ryan) Rodriguez of Aurora, CO; her mother, Doris Mahorney-Miller of Olathe, KS; one brother, Verne Mahorney of Olathe, KS; her six beloved grandchildren: Kylee, Dayton, Shayla and Isaiah Skaggs and Joey and Madaline Rodriguez; and other relatives and friends.
Sharon was preceded in death by her father, Verne Mahorney.
Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, April 21, 2017 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan with cremation to follow.
Visitation was from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan, Missouri.
