Robert Marshall Fields, Jr.

Robert Marshall Fields, Jr. of Sullivan, MO, formerly of Eugene, OR, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at the age of 67 years.
Robert was born on February 25, 1949 to the late Robert M. Fields, Sr. and Bertha Mae Nissen Fields in Eugene, Oregon. For many years, Robert was employed as a supervisor at Valley Pipe Manufacturing Company in Sunnyside, WA. In 2002, Robert relocated to Sullivan and had made his home here until his passing. While living in Sullivan, Robert was employed by Walmart and had made many lasting friendships while working there. On October 4, 2010, Robert was united in marriage to Catharine Hoosemans at Steelville, MO. After retirement, Mr. Fields enjoyed caring for his dogs; Charlie, Reba, Hope, Sadie, Shelia and Misty.
He is survived by his wife; Catharine Hoosemans, two sons; Eric and Grant Fields of Eugene, OR, one daughter; Holly Fields Savage of the state of Washington, one brother; Bill Fields,  his best friend; Sharon Woodburn of Sullivan, MO, grandchildren, nieces and nephews other relatives and many friends.
 Along with his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his sister; Nancy Lee Fields.
It was Robert’s wish to be cremated. A celebration of life will be held at a late time.
