Funeral services for Renee Anderson, 36, of Potosi, formerly of Sullivan, took place 1 p.m., Friday, September 16, 2016 at the Eaton Funeral Home, Sullivan with Pastor William Savage officiating.Burial followed at the Odd Fellows Memorial Cemetery in Sullivan.
Visitation was held 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, September 16, 2016 at the Eaton Funeral Home, Sullivan.
Betty Renee Williams was born March 5, 1980 in Fort Polk, LA, the daughter of Jeffrey and Dawn (Manning) Williams. She grew up and attended school in Sullivan graduating in 1998 from Sullivan High School. Following graduation, Renee moved to Farmington, MO where she worked various health care jobs and also attended Mineral Area College. While working at Parkland Health Center, she met the love of her life Terry. They were united in marriage June 23, 2007 in St. Clair. They lived in Union for several years before recently relocating to Potosi.
Renee loved sports, especially watching her beloved Cardinals and Blues. The family enjoyed many camping outings together. Renee loved being a mom. Her fulfillment in life was being active in her girls’ lives. This included many memorable field trips together. She also served as a co-leader in the Girl Scouts program. Renee was a caregiver to all. She was always there helping out her friends and family. She will be missed by all.
Renee passed away Sunday, September 11, 2016 at her home.
She is survived by her husband, Terry; her two daughters, Madilynn Jones and Carlie Anderson of Potosi; her parents: Jeff and Dawn Williams of St. Clair; two brothers: Jason Witt of Sullivan and Drew Fuller (and wife, Jessica) of Union, MO; three sisters: Rochell Graddy (and husband, Kyle) of Silex, MO, Jennifer Jones (and husband, Mike) of Sullivan, and Alana Owenby (and husband, Clinton) of Marthasville, MO; her grandmother, Billie Witt of Sullivan; special aunts and uncles: Vickie and Dean Foster of Edmond, OK and Lou and Brent Hardy of Dallas, TX; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many close friends that have always been by her side.
Renee was preceded in death by her grandfather Kenny Witt; grandmother, Betty Doyle (and husband, Buddy); and an uncle, William Frost.
