Ronald W. Deimund pictureRonald Deimund, of Sullivan, MO, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at the age of 77 years.

Ronald William was born on August 8, 1938 to the late Walter E. and Opal L. (Thieret) Deimund at Perryville, MO. After graduating from High School, Ronnie honorably served his country in the United States Army from December 22, 1963 to December 12, 1967. After his military service, Ronnie was employed by Labors Union #840, International Labors of North American where he served as a Union representative and Foreman in the Cement Mason Road Construction Industry. Ronnie was known as a “jack of all trades” and could fix anything. He loved his family and friends and enjoyed fishing, hunting and hanging out at his house on the river. Ronnie was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Arie # 3781 of Sullivan. 

He is survived by three daughters, Cheri Tetrault and husband Bruce of St. Louis, MO, Cathy Tetrault and husband Mike of St. Louis, MO, Sharon Clawson and husband Randy of St. Charles, MO; one brother, Donald Deimund and wife Mildred of Oklahoma; one sister, Lois Koestner and husband Leonard of Redbud, IL; 10 granddaughters; 1 great-grandson; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Opal Deimund and his son, Kevin Haynes.

Eagle services were conducted at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, June 16, 2016 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan, MO with interment in National Cemetery, Jefferson Barracks, MO, at 9 a.m. Friday, June 17, 2016. Visitation for Ronnie from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the Eaton Funeral Home, Sullivan, MO.  Memorials to the National Stroke Foundation are appreciated.

All arrangements were under the care of the Eaton Funeral Home, Sullivan, MO.
